Bob Milligan is a professionally trained philanthropic auctioneer who specializes in calling live benefit and charity auctions.  In 2004 Bob graduated from The Missouri Auction School, which is the oldest and largest auction school in the world and has international reputation for producing top auctioneers in all fields. According to Newsweek, the school is “the Harvard of Auctioneering”.   Bob began his auction career in 2004 working with the Max Spann Real Estate and Auction Company as a real estate auctioneer.  Bob soon realized the need for high quality auction services in the non-profit community and transitioned to working exclusively as a benefit auctioneer.  Since that time Bob has worked with many of the leading non-profit and philanthropic organizations in New York and New Jersey as the auctioneer for their major benefit events including The Boomer Esiason Foundation, Valley Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation, Far Hills Country Day School, Kent Place School, D.A.R.E. NJ, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Cystic Fibrosis, Ducks Unlimited, Franklin Lakes Education Foundation, Christian Health Care Center, to name a few.    This service has created a tremendous value to the organizations he serves.  Bob has consistently helped these organizations maximize their fund raising efforts by providing a professionally run auction – no matter what the economic environment.   When not raising money as an auctioneer, he is busy both running a successful Wealth Management Practice and serving as a Branch Manager at a major, national financial services firm.  In this role he and his team focus on providing investment consulting and comprehensive financial planning services to high net worth individuals, family offices, and non-profit organizations.  Bob’s practice focuses on working with non-profit institutions and their affluent donors by helping both make the most of planned charitable giving strategies.     Bob is a member of the National Auctioneers Association and lives in Basking Ridge, New Jersey with his wife Larissa and their 3 children.
